The Lake
Last night I went camping with some of my friends. I enjoyed it a lot. I made a fire pit, the fire, cooked dinner and breakfast this morning, and was the repairman when our tools broke. We made a massive bonfire that lasted for several hours. It was just four of us but that was fine. We ate smores and looked at the stars and the moon. We went adventuring into the dark forest and told scary stories. We laughed and sang and had deep thinking conversations about life, the government, philosophy, ourselves. I’m happy to have friends like that. Friends that are there for you and the companionship of your brothers. I’m glad that we got to do this and I can’t wait to do it again.
